Sword

The sword is the weapon you start with in Nrisca. It is balanced, and it is the best weapon for learning boss patterns.

When to use the sword

• When you are new and want to learn how each boss attacks.
• When you want a safe middle choice. It is not the fastest and not the longest, but it has no big weakness.
• When you want to pair it with the spin slash, unlocked by beating Gateward.

How it compares

The dagger is faster but shorter. The greatsword reaches farther and breaks poise faster but swings slowly. The spear has the longest reach and thrusts in a line. The sword sits in the middle of all three.
