Short description
Nrisca is a free retro LCD roguelike. Slash ghost knights, beat a boss at every depth and pick upgrades, all on one fixed screen.
Long description
Nrisca looks like the brick game handhelds of the 90s, with a square-pixel LCD screen, one stick and one button. Under that look it is an action roguelike. Each depth is a fight against ghost knights, sometimes a puzzle level with torches, mirrors or keys, a healing room and a boss. Bosses telegraph every attack, so every death teaches you something. After each boss you pick one of three upgrades. Between runs you earn Umbra and buy permanent upgrades in the Hall, unlock new weapons and climb an online leaderboard.
