How do I save my progress?
The game saves on your device after every run. In the browser, clearing the site data of nrisca.pages.dev also clears the save. To keep a copy online, claim a name in the pause menu under ACCOUNT, then use SYNC NOW.
How do I move my save to another device?
On the first device claim a name under ACCOUNT and sync. On the other device open ACCOUNT, choose LOGIN and enter the same name and password. Your cloud save is loaded.
Does Nrisca work offline?
Most of the game runs on your device. The cloud save, the leaderboard and updates need a connection. Open the game once online first.
Does Nrisca have ads or purchases?
No ads. Umbra, the in-game currency, is earned by playing.
What is Umbra?
Umbra is the currency you earn by killing ghosts, clearing depths and beating bosses. You spend it on permanent upgrades in the shop in the Hall. See the upgrades guide.
Why did my Awakening drop?
Awakening goes down by one each time you die. You can raise it again in the healing room and by defeating the mini boss that appears when it is low. See the Awakening guide.
What is the Bloodstain?
It is a mark left where you died. If you reach the same depth in your next run and walk onto it, you get a Guard shield and one more level of an upgrade you earned in that run. Upgrades bought in the shop are not stored in it.
How do I unlock the other weapons?
Each boss you beat for the first time unlocks something new: spin slash, lantern, dagger, greatsword and spear. See the weapons guide.
How do I switch between stick and D-pad?
Open the pause menu, choose CONTROLS and change the control type.
The game runs slowly. What can I do?
Open the pause menu, choose DISPLAY, lower SCALE and set FPS to 30. Turning off PIXEL GLOW and TORCH LIGHT also helps.
How do I play in fullscreen in the browser?
Open the pause menu, choose DISPLAY and set FULL SCREEN to ON.
How do I delete my account and data?
Send a message with the topic "Privacy or data request" on the contact page and include your player name.
Where do I report a bug?
Use the contact page. Please include your device, browser or Android version, and what you were doing.
Is there a story?
Yes. It is told in short texts as you play. The wiki leaves it out on purpose.
